 Soulful Street Bites, a take-out-only spot in Addison specializing in New Orleans-inspired soul food, has been operating for a couple of years pretty much under the radar as a food truck before opening a physical location this September. The place operates out of a small storefront in Yet Another Strip Mall with a small area consisting of just a few chairs for those waiting for their orders. But the food here is large: cooked with care and full of flavors straight out of your childhood kitchen.

I ordered a meal from here and they decided to cancel my order and then not give me a place to ask for my refund. I think at this point we are getting bamboozled. You can see the screen to write the complaint.

They are not refunding orders they cancelled due to “a high amount of orders” which is understandable i guess , i found out about this place on social media so it makes since that others did to, but to cancel it and then say it’ll be refunded in 2-3 business days and then never send the information or the money back to the bank your potential customer ordered from so that you can keep the revenue is beyond revolting, I had to dispute the charge with my bank because you didn’t want to give it back willingly, I was going to come back in person at another time so maybe i’d have a better chance getting a plate but absolutely not, have some morals and respect for your customers. Food was EXCELLENT! This is a family owned business with the owners being from Jackson, Mississippi! I could definitely tell and taste the "home cooking" in this food! Topped it off with a slice of coconut cake! I'll definitely return again and again! A+

Just visited this restaurant and choose the special, catfish bits and fries. The seasoning, texture, and crunch was perfect. My mouth is still watering, LOL. I highly recommend this place if you love soul food.

Peach lemonade, banana pudding, greens, candies yams, Mac & cheese and catfish bites were all so delicious the whole team were extremely nice and gave amazing service definitely is going to be my new spot to get food 😋 stop by you will not be disappointed!!

I recently visited this new spot while in Dallas for the weekend and man I must say!!! EVERYTHING was amazing. Starting with the customer service & ending with the meal. I loved everything!!! Especially the brisket mac n cheese! If you’re ever in Addison make sure to stop by! You won’t be disappointed!

Best place ever. One of the best things on the menu is the Brisket Mac and Cheese. They give you a lot of food. Definitely going again. Can't wait to go back and try some more.

So Good I had to do a double take! The chicken is cooked to order, juicy and flavorful. The Catfish bits are fresh and thick. But these SIDES!!!!! I had almost all of them. I had to come back for more Broccoli Cheese casserole and I tried more sides on the 2nd run. It was soo worth it.
